Rules and Procedures

Why do I have rules and procedures?

Could you imagine what would happen if you needed to go in a car to the mall which was perhaps one mile away?

Not too much as long as there are rules, and people follow the rules.

But what if everyone was allowed to go when they wanted to? If there were no traffic lights or learning permits or driver’s ed?

I would hate to think of it.

BOOM!

SMASH!

CRASH!

Well the same thing is necessary in instrumental music class. In order that everyone can have fun learning about instruments we need to have rules which tell us how we should behave in music and we have procedures which help make the class run smoothly.

Take a look at the rules and procedures that are posted below.

Do you see something that needs to be added or changed?

Let me know what you think…. After all this is your class too!
